Technology Multi-IQ Multifrequency

The first metal detector to feature Multi-IQ Multifrequency technology, i.e. a detector that operates simultaneously on all frequencies simultaneously. The Equinox 700 has search frequencies of 4, 5, 10 and 15 kHz. You can choose to search on a single frequency or on Multi-IQ. The advantage of a low frequency of 5 kHz is that the detector has a wider depth range. The advantage of a search frequency of 15 kHz is that the detector is more sensitive to small rooms. On Multi-IQ, the Equinox 700 searches all frequencies simultaneously and searches with the benefits of all search frequencies at once.

Waterproof up to 5 meters

IP68 water resistance at 16 feet (5 m) allows you to take your Equinox anywhere and control the ground under your feet. Suitable for both fresh and salt water, even probing in the rain is not a problem with the Equinox 700.

Search modes

Whether you're strolling through the fields or snorkeling on the beach, the Equinox 700 finds treasures that other detectors miss. The Equinox 700 has 6 search modes. 2 search modes for parks, 2 for fields and 2 for beaches. These 6 programs can be defined at will and are also recorded.

Built-in Bluetooth, including ML-85 Bluetooth headphones

The Minelab Equinox 700 has built-in Bluetooth and comes with a low-latency ML-85 Bluetooth headset. There's also a 3.5mm waterproof jack connector for optional cable earbuds or underwater earbuds. In addition, the volume can be adjusted directly via the control unit.

Built-in Li-ion battery

The Equinox 700 has a built-in Li-Ion battery located in the handle, which is rechargeable via a magnetic USB port. The battery life is about 10-12 hours. You can also charge the Equinox via USB via a power bank while searching, so you can search and charge at the same time!

Weight, search coils and ground adjustment

The weight of the Minelab Equinox 700 metal detector is only 1.2 kg! And all this with a strong and wide DD research coil of 28 cm (EQX 11). Optionally, there is a 15 cm coil (EQX 6) and a large 38 x 30 cm coil (EQX 15). Ground balancing can be done both automatically and manually. Manual soil balancing is important for harsh soil conditions or highly mineralized soils. You can also set the device to tracking. Then, the Equinox 700 automatically adapts to the ground.

Reaction speed

The reaction rate of the equinox can be adjusted in 3 steps. If you set the value low, you get maximum search depth; If you place it high, you can easily see objects spaced tightly apart from each other. With the Equinox 700, you'll never miss an item again.

Object identification

The Equinox 700 features object identification with conductive values, which you can read on the clear and concise display. Conductance values range from -19 to 0 for iron objects and from 1 to 99 for the detection of more valuable objects, silver objects with higher conductance values and gold objects with medium-high conductance. Of course, you can also hide iron objects from -19 to 0 with the discrimination function. The horseshoe button allows you to quickly and easily turn iron discrimination on and off.

Screen lighting

The Equinox 700 has red display lighting in different brightnesses, key lighting and of reel. The perfect device for searching at dusk or in dark areas.

Identification function and updates Software

A location function to record the exact location is also not lacking. With the help of the location function, you can dig up objects quickly and accurately. It is also possible to perform Equinox software updates via USB.
