The Equninox 600 from Minelab is a powerful multi-frequency metal detector that is waterproof to 3 meters and equipped with a built-in Li-Ion battery. This high-end detector not only convinces with its waterproofness, but is also a lightweight (1.3 kg) and has a super fast reaction speed.

Multi-IQ Multifrequency Technology

The first metal detector that has Multi-IQ multi-frequency technology, i.e. a detector that works simultaneously on all frequencies at the same time. The Equinox 600 has a 5kHz, a 10 kHz search frequency and a 15 kHz search frequency. You can choose whether you search on a single frequency or on multi-IQ. On Multi-IQ, the Equinox 600 searches for all frequencies at the same time. The advantage of a low 5 kHz frequency is that the detector has a wider depth range. The advantage of a 15 kHz search frequency is that the detector is more sensitive to small parts. With the Multi-IQ, the best of all three frequencies is combined!

Waterproof

Completely waterproof up to 3 meters under water, suitable for fresh and salt water, even sobing in the rain is no problem with the Equinox 600. 

Search Modes

The Equinox 600 has 6 search modes. 2 search modes for parks, 2 for fields and 2 for the beach

Built-in Li-ion battery

The Equinox 600 has a built-in Li-Ion battery that is rechargeable and equipped with a magnetic USB port. The battery life is about 10 – 12 hours. You can also charge the Equinox via USB via a power bank during the search, so you can search and charge at the same time!

Weight and search coils

The weight of the Minelab Equinox metal detector is only 1.34 kg! And that with a strong, large 28cm (11") DD search coil.

Optionally, there is a 6 inch coil and a large 38 x 30 cm (15 x 12") coil.

The ground adjustment can be carried out automatically and manually with the Equinox. Manual soil balancing is important for difficult soil conditions, or highly mineralized soils.

Responsiveness

The reaction speed of the Equinox detector is extremely fast. The detection and separation of the different metal types is very well detected by this detector. This is very important if you want to see if several objects are next to each other. With the Equinox 600 you won't miss an object anymore!

Object Identification

The Equinox has an object identification with conductance values, which can be easily read on the display during the search. Conductance values run from -9 to 0 for iron objects and from 0 to 40 for detecting more valuable objects, with silver objects having higher conductance values and gold objects having a medium conductance. Of course, you can also hide the iron objects from -9 to 0 with the discrimination function.

Display illumination

The Equinox series has display illumination, perfect for searching at dusk or in dark areas.

Pinpoint function and software updates

Also a pinpoint function for recording the exact location is not missing. You can use the pinpoint function to dig up the objects quickly and easily. It is also possible to perform Equinox software updates via USB.
